NetKernel includes a set of tools useful for developers. The NetKernel Debugger and the XUnit Testing Framework have specific guides available here.

Other tools are available in the Developer Tools page in the backend fulcrum. These include:

• New Module Wizard - Create new modules as a starting point for development
• Workbench - A module that enables the easy hacking of scripts and services
• Request Trace - Perform a resource request and inspect the resource dependency tree
• Class Trace - Trace how a java class is resolved within the context of a module
• DPML Playpen - This tool allows you to input, validate and execute fragments of DPML
• Scripting Playpen - This tool allows you to input, validate and execute scripts written in Beanshell, Javascript, Python and Groovy
• Regex Cookbook - Experiment with regular expressions and rewrite rules
• Resource Browser - List all resources within a module
